So, I'm watching Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry and I can't keep my eyes off of the yellow duffel bag. You know the one that he carries the money to Scorpio in? Well, now i just have to have a leather yellow duffel bag that's cute, well made and light on the wallet too. Which is why I am currently on the hunt. I have however found the perfect yellow satchel, this Dooney & Bourke bag is cute, chic and sure to be a staple in my closet. Have a clue where I can find the perfect yellow duffel bag? This week a lot of new shows will premiere just in time for spring. First we have the CW with "Life Unexpected", while it's definitely not the Gilmore Girls-yet, the pilot was solid and follows Lux a 16 year old girl in foster care, who tracks down her birth parents in the hopes of being emancipated. Things don't work out as planned, but she does wind up with her birth mother and they both try to grow up together. Sound familiar? It should, while it's no Gilmore Girls, I still have high hopes for it.

Southland premieres tonight at 10 p.m. on TNT. The gritty cop drama which originally aired on NBC before being canned this fall, due to lack of space on the line up will air commercial free with new footage.

For those of you who missed the original premiere last spring now's the time to get acquainted with the show which features an ensemble cast that includes Regina King (Ray, Miss Congeniality 2) and Benjamin McKenzie (The O.C.) TNT will re-air the entire first season and begin airing new episodes in March.

Ok, I'm Back, For Real This Time

I know, it's been a looong time, a whole six months has passed since I've graced you, whoever my loyal readers are with my presence. Blame life, blame lack of time or you can just blame it on me. Whatever the reason, I am back and I promise better than ever. When I decided that I wanted to start a blog it was to highlight things that interested me. Since I'm interested in everything from television to hole in the wall restaurants (if my shoes don't stick to the floor how can I be assured that the food is good?). Anyway my new and improved blog posts will feature some of all of the things that I find interesting and hopefully you'll like them too. If you don't please feel free to leave a comment and suggestions below.

Hey guys, thought I'd bring you up to date on a few of the new shows out there. One that tops the list is Royal Pains, which centers on Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein), an up-and-coming doctor who loses his job after one of the benefactors for his hospital dies on his watch. Depressed and dejected Hank goes to the Hamptons with his younger brother where he eventually opens a concierge practice tending to the whims of the rich and famous, while helping out those less fortunate at the same time.

It's a great show, funny, compelling and like most USA shows is a great twist on the regular medical drama. The show airs at 10 p.m. Thursdays on USA.
