nirrimi

Photos by artist Nirrimi (how cool is that name), anyway, I stumbled across her blog today thanks to The Glamourai and I am in love with her work. I love the way she uses light and color to capture her images...at only 18 she manages to travel the world doing what she loves...amazing. Oh, I also like the fact that she refers to her boyfriend as her lover (he's a photographer too) it's so...bohemian. Check out her blog here.

Monica

Singer Monica is one of my favorite singers. I remember when this video first came out and I had to hunt down a pair of baggy  khakis (thanks to the Gap), a white tee and white nikes (guess who's going to bust out the old look?) Here's the video for First Night.

The Globes

I was in a fierce debate with myself over posting looks from the Golden Globes (in the end I won) and decided to post my favorite looks of the night.

Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive

Emma Stone in Calvin Klein in what has to be my favorite look of the night.

Angelina Jolie in Versace

Eva Longoria in Zac Posen

I didn't catch the entire show, but I did tune in long enough to catch Angelina Jolie add gloss to her lips, stars, they really are just like us.

Boxing Kitten

I stumbled across Boxing Kitten when I found out about these oxford shoes, I had to find out more about the line. It's a vintage-inspired line started by Maya Anima Lake and the features bold African prints. I love the look and feels of these photos, the line mixes bold patterns and colors to create unique look.

Pleated

Currently on the hunt for a nice pleated skirt. I'm sure it has everything to do with SJP on the cover of January Elle:

Her Halston Heritage frock, is still a little bit out of my price range...but, I have been on the hunt for a nice vintage version. Wish me luck!

Cool Weather

Sometimes I wish I lived in an area that had four full seasons (and not just random cold fronts) so that I could wear things like this:

Stockholm Street Style

Happy New Year's by the way! I tried not to jot down any resolutions (although I have begun waking up earlier to get a quick work out in :) so, I'll just wish you all a blessed and prosperous new year!
