Currently in love with fun colorful skirts and ladylike flares. Though technically, spring/summer weather is a constant in So. Work Uniform

I've noticed that usually I post pictures of me in dresses and skirts (with the occasional shorts thrown in) though, I go to work practically every day in jeans! My job has a laid back atmosphere and it's easier for me to throw on jeans, a shirt (or sweater) and go. The bag fits all of my essentials and doesn't feel too heavy...plus I grabbed it on super sale at TJ Maxx!

Instagramm'd

Spring is here and I'm updating for the new season. My favorite part about spring...the rainy days actually (especially when I'm at home watching a movie). Just a quick update on what I've been up to via Instagram (follow me @pinkpopmash and I'll follow back :). I was out of town and able to catch up on restaurants that aren't readily available here (mainly Waffle House!!!) Have a lovely day :)

Sunny Days

Just a quick post from my phone :) This photo was taken at my mom's art show opening (she's branching out into a new career)  and posted on Instagram. Paired my strip skirt with a basic solid shirt since everyone looked at me like I was crazy when I went stripes on stripes on stripes. Do you ever change your clothes or outfit according to how others perceive it? I don't do it often, but every now and then a second eye can help me see a little more clearly. How do you handle negative feedback? Let me know in the comments :D

My new office environment is casual, very casual. So casual in fact, that it is sometimes hard to justify wearing heels...much less dress pants. I think I've found a happy medium by dressing up my basic jeans and tee combo with heels and a jacket.
