Baked S'Mores

So after reading this recipe I decided to give baked s'mores a try...and yeah they are as delicious as they look. Marshmallow creme and rich milk chocolate sandwiched between two cookie crusts? Yes please. My sister continues to request them. Hope everyone had a lovely holiday and have an even better new year :)

Rihanna in Pearls

So, I know I'm late with this, but I finally saw the Victoria Secret Runway Show, more specifically Rihanna's performance outfit. Those glasses are everything! Anyway, the look reminded me of this look, from the 2010 Chanel Runway show.  I guess you can never go wrong with Chanel or pearls.

MashMusic: Ke$ha

Ke$ha's new album Warrior has totally been on repeat in my car.  It's basically party music that makes me feel good at the end of a long work day.  My favorite track? Past Lives.  But Die Young is a good track too. Have a lovely day!

         

Bridesmaid Revisited

Hey! I wore this ensemble to a friends recent nuptials.  The wedding was held outdoors overlooking a golf course, before leaving I was able to have these photos snapped. Instead of going out to the stores to shop (during Black Friday weekend no less) I opted from something out of my closet, the dress I wore as a bridesmaid last year.  That bride was kind in picking a simple color that could be worn again (it was originally worn with a sash), I added a jacket, some pearls and cute pumps to complete the look.

So yeah, I will be at the office this Black Friday :(. But, I won't be out of the loop completely from online shoe stores to my favorite shops, I will definitely let my fingers do the shopping! It's actually less of a hassle that way and some stores (like the gap) will have extra discounts!

Hart of Style

One of my favorite shows to watch just for the styling alone is Hart of Dixie.  Starring Rachel Bilson as Zoe Hart, a big city doctor who works on her bedside manner in a small town that she grows to love.  I love Zoe's style, it's perfect for the hot weather, the character tends to mix separates like pants, shirts and blazers that are perfect for regular work well (although the shorts may be difficult to pull off in some work environments).
