I ♥ David Beckham

As if looking at David Beckham isn't enough (he's actually quite stylish), it turns out he has a sense of humor as well. Beckham was on the Ellen show today and with DeGeneres, tricks an unsuspecting masseuse. This video gave me the giggles. Enjoy!

MSGM

I stumbled across Italian brand MSGM through Donald Glover (Troy on community)
So, I had to take a peak at their fall/winter collection, even though Miami is seriously lacking in both of those seasons, it is nice to dream. Plus, the collection has a few brightly colored dresses that go for any season. Enjoy!

There's even something for the boys:

Whip It

Willow Smith, progeny of Will and Jada Smith, has just released her first video for her first single Whip My Hair. The video is your typical pop fare for a pre-teen (it's set at school) but Willow's style and personality really shine in this vid, from the colorful nails to the on point make-up choices...she's definitely not your ordinary 9 year-old. My favorite hairstyle has to be the heart shaped braids. Enjoy!

Blue Valentine, Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams wore a red Erdem dress with leopard print shoes at the London Film Festival Premiere of her new movie Blue Valentine, which also stars Ryan Gosling. Loving the whole look, including the blonde pixie cut. Some say it's too grandma-y, but the leopard print shoes add an unexpected touch to the look.

Designer Look for Less

photo courtesy of Sea of Shoes

I've been seeing these Alaia suede lace-up hiking booties everywhere lately. While I believe that they are gorgeous (and should at the very least be tried on), there is no way I can spend $1,710 on a pair of boots. There are so many other things I can do with that money (paying for food and shelter come to mind :). Which is why I couldn't help but notice these Nine West booties, from the Vintage America Collection by Joss Stone. Which is very similar to the original. The platform isn't as high, but then again neither is the price tag ;) At $149 I can by shoes and the outfit to go with it and still be able to pay for my monthly necessities. Enjoy!

The Simpsons

I totally love the Simpsons. It's one of those shows that I can watch, even if I haven't watched it in a while. Last night, the opening was down right creepy, thought-provoking-perfect, with the opening credits story board created by artist Banksy. The credits start out normally and then shift to this underground world that touches on child labor and dying dreams (there's a dying unicorn put to work) Take a peek at the opening and let me know what you think in the comments.

Update: The old video was taken down, so here is the full episode, with the Banksy opening. I promise it's totally cool and kind of Halloween-y.

In 2008, Banksy created this piece in a neighborhood in london.

Fall Back

As promised, here's my take on Rihanna's two Day looks. The skirt was a little harder to duplicate, but this white one does just fine...honestly Rihanna's looked like it was an actual slip (wouldn't put it past her) so that is always an option. I couldn't decide on the shoes as I liked all of them!

Here's the other look, I actually like this purple and gray sweater. Both looks are perfect for transitioning into fall (we're actually getting a bit of a breeze here in Miami). Enjoy!

CelebStyle: Rihanna in London Town

Rihanna has been making the rounds in Europe in promotion of her new album Loud. I believe that's what inspired her outfit, from the pants to the cropped sweater and wedge shoes, she definitely lives out loud.

On Monday, Rihanna hit the town in a white tulle skirt, black tied shirt, gray blazer, ankle socks and brown platform pumps. Definitely not a style that most people could pull off, but I will post my take on both looks in a few.

A True Original

I came across this photo of Carole Lombard the other day. It's so chic and current I couldn't believe that it was taken in the 1930s! So, of course I had to search for more photos of this lovely actress who died at the age of 33 in a car crash. She starred in several films and was reportedly known for hosting fabulous parties as well as her down to earth personality. At the time of her death she was married to Clark Gable.

love the shoes!
